No Tutorial For This

To say the past 4 years in software moved at lightspeed is an understatement. Joining a hypergrowth startup in the midst of COVID, I thought I knew what I was signing up for. I didn't.

What followed was a crash course in navigating constant change, new tools, shifting priorities, rotating teammates, ambiguous problems with no clear answers. No tutorial prepares you for that. You learn by doing, by getting it wrong, and by showing up again the next day.

Comfort is a terrible teacher. The real growth lives just outside it.
